The pilot project of corporate volunteering took place on Thursday, May 25, 2017. BONATRANS employees helped to clean up the area from Ostravice to Lysa Hora.
The group consisted of 8 BONATRANS employees, the chairwomen of the NGO called Čisté Beskydy* Kateřina Piechowicz and the famous Czech climber Libor Uher. Despite the very unfavorable weather, the group reached the peak of Lysa Hora (1323 m) and cleaned it out of the omnipresent garbage.
This volunteering day started the most extensive public cleaning event in Beskid Mountain, named „Poděkuj horám“.
* The main goal of the association Čisté Beskydy is to keep the Beskid Mountain in good condition, clean it out of the garbage, attract the general public to the mountains and teach them the responsibility and behavior in the nature).
